Weave News Reader Receives New API Calls, Ability to Keep Unread Articles Indefinitely

Arguably one of the best RSS readers in the Windows Phone Store, Weave News Reader‘s free version has just received an update that gives it some new API calls that align the app with the new Weave service that was rolled out this past weekend.

In addition, the new update fixes the “settings screen crashing on open” issue that cropped up recently, so you presumably should have no problems changing your settings within the app now.

Finally, the update also allows you to set an unread article delete policy of “never”, so you’ll be able to keep those unread articles around for as long as you like. This will come in handy if you like to catch up on the latest news on a weekly instead of a daily basis like many people do.

You can download the new Weave News Reader via the QR code above. The paid $9.99 version has also been included if you’d like to have an ad-free experience.

How is the new version working for you?
