It Looks Like We’ll Be Waiting a Little Longer for VLC Media Player on Windows Phone

While the VideoLan team opened and then quickly closed beta sign-ups yesterday, it appeared that VLC Media Player would be finding itself on Windows Phone by the end of the week after more close to two years of development.

Unfortunately that doesn’t look to be the case; VideoLan has just revealed that the app submission was rejected on its official Twitter account:

Still, the VideoLan team will try again. They’re ready to persevere, and that’s a very good thing. Windows Phone needs more developers like that and it will be great to see VLC make it to the platform. after such a long wait.

Did you sign up for the beta, or did you choose to wait this one out? Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments!

Thanks wendy3294 for the tip!
