VLC Media Player Beta for Windows Phone Now Available for Download to Registered Testers

If you’ve been following the VLC Media Player saga and have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the app like the rest of us, you’re in for a treat, at least if you’ve signed up for the beta test.

VLC developer Thomas Nigro announced teh arrival of the beta software on Twitter (via):

This is very good news to hear after VLC faced a rejection late last month after it had been submitted to the Windows Phone Store.

Check out the video above if you’d like to see what VLC will look like running on your Windows Phone smartphone. Of course, since it’s just been released in beta, there’s no word yet on an official release date.
