TuneIn Radio arrives on Windows 10

TuneIn is one of the most popular radio, music and podcast aggregation services in the world. They claim to have a global audience of over 60 million users. While there had been a TuneIn app fro both Windows and Windows Phone this is one is brand new and built from  ground up as a universal app for Windows 10.

From the TuneIn post about the app:

TuneIn, the world’s largest collection of audio, is now available as a Windows 10 Universal app. The best sports, news, music, talk radio and podcasts are moments away from being listened to with this latest release. TuneIn Radio is available as a free app in the Windows Store for desktop and tablets, with a mobile version of the app coming soon.

One of the features we love most about the Windows 10 OS is the ability to Pin the TuneIn Radio app to the Start menu. When you pin the TuneIn Radio app, or even your favorite stations, you can easily access your favorite audio content at anytime.

The Cortana integration allows you to launch the TuneIn Radio app with your voice. Simply say, “Cortana, launch TuneIn,” and the app opens to your Feed screen displaying what’s playing on your favorite stations.

Another app upgrade features easy TuneIn account sign in via your Facebook or Google accounts, or your preferred email address, for a seamless TuneIn experience across your devices.
