Football Players Quiz is the Perfect Time Waster for the Sports Aficionado

If you’re a big fan of football (soccer for those of us in the U.S.), you may find Football Players Quiz quite appealing.

Developed by Naveen CS, Football Players Quiz works across Windows phones, PCs, and tablets, so no matter what your device of preference, you can enjoy quizzing yourself on your favorite players. The UI is snappy and responsive, and the simplicity of the game is not a bad thing at all in this case.

Football Players Quiz features 200 players divided into 10 levels, providing you with quite a bit of content. You can receive helpful hints if you get stumped, you get suggestions as you type (to make sure you’re spelling things correctly), and you even get a Live Tile that shows your game progress.

15 game achievements are unlockable, and you can extend the fun to your family and friends via social networks — FAcebook, Twitter, and email — so that they can help you complete the quiz a la Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’s old “Phone-a-friend” lifeline feature. There’s even more information about the player available through in-app links to Wikipedia or, making the game every bit as educational as it is fun.

The only real thing 1800PPC can find that warrants a lower score is the limited amount of content available (some classic players would be nice, along with more levels), but otherwise the game receives high marks.

In short, Football Players Quiz is a great concept that was delivered very well and is a highly recommended game for any football fans on Windows and Windows Phone. You can try the game out for yourself via the QR code above (Windows Phone) or via the Windows Store.
