Office 365 Subscribers Getting Free Unlimited OneDrive Cloud Storage Space

There’s no doubt that we love Microsoft’s OneDrive. It’s rated among the best free cloud storage services for Windows Phone and now it’s getting even better.

Microsoft has announced that it is now giving all of its Office 365 subscribers free unlimited cloud storage space on OneDrive over the next several months, so you’ll be able to store all you want on the service for $6.99 USD or more.

The rollout starts today for Office 365 Home, Personal, and University customers and if you want to be among the first to get the unlimited storage, you can do so here. OneDrive for Business customers will be able to access the unlimited space sometime in 2015.

“While unlimited storage is another important milestone for OneDrive we believe the true value of cloud storage is only realized when it is tightly integrated with the tools people use to communicate, create, and collaborate, both personally and professionally,” Microsoft said of the offering. “That is why unlimited storage is just one small part of our broader promise to deliver a single experience across work and life that helps people store, sync, share, and collaborate on all the files that are important to them, all while meeting the security and compliance needs of even the most stringent organizations.”

Microsoft also says it has more announcements planned in the “coming months.”
