Modern Mayor for Windows Phone Receives Some New Missions, Improvements

Few games are quite like Modern Mayor for Windows Phone. It’s true the game is similar to games like SimCity or Age of Empires in many respects, but all-in-all the game has one big difference: it’s meant as a way to educate people on becoming green.

That’s pretty obvious just by reading the game’s description in the Windows Phone Store:

This city is in trouble. Pollution is choking the air and trash piles up on the streets, beaches are filled with sludge and trees haven’t bloomed in years. It’s up to you to save the city!

You’re guided into your job as mayor by a “snappy” publicist named Townhall Laura, as you try to rebuild the city and kill of it’s pollution.

Over the past few months, the game has been expanded, tweaked, and even rebranded; the former name of the game carried the Nokia branding. Now a new update has been released that expands the game even further:

  • Eco actions are now unlocked and improved with upgrades to scale better with higher levels
  • Re-designed tutorial and new missions
  • improved menus to provide more information
  • Connectivity improvements
  • Bug fixes

You can download this new update via the Windows Phone Store using the QR code above.
