Arabic, Catalan, Danish, and more languages now supported in Microsoft’s Translator

Language barriers can not only be a nuisance, but they can also prevent important messages from getting across. Luckily there are a lot of translation apps for Windows that help prevent your communications from going awry, one of which is Microsoft’s own Translator app, which just received a new update.

Version 3.5 contains voice support for a grand total of twelve new languages, consisting of Arabic, Catalan, Chinese(Hong Kong), Chinese(Taiwan), Danish, Dutch, English(New Zealand),Finnish, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese and Swedish.

In addition to the new languages, Translator also now supports offline translation for Hindi, very useful if you’re planning a trip to visit friends or family in places like India. The update also includes “Romanization” of translations in Chinese and simplified Hindi.
