Glance Screen Gains Ability to Set Lockscreen Photo as Background

If you’ve been using Glance Screen, you should have received an update this morning that allows you to set your lockscreen photo as the background, extending a feature from Glance Background Beta to the official application and also increasing the customization options available to Windows Phone users.

It’s been quite awhile since Glance Screen received an update, so this new addition is a very welcome one.

Of course, the app, which is exclusive to Lumia smartphones, still includes the same features we’ve come to enjoy, including displaying your missed calls and messages as well as the time and social network notifications, giving you a quick view of what awaits you should you choose to unlock your smartphone.

It’s worth noting that you’ll need to restart your smartphone once the download is complete to see the changes. You should be prompted to do so, but if you’re not, you’ll have to do it manually.

Download the new update via the QR code above and leave your thoughts about it in the comments!
