Blowy Fish catapults its way from the Android platform to Windows

“Endless” style games are everywhere on the Windows platform already, and now a new entrant has arrived, and it’s a little different from the endless runners you are used to. Following the successful release on Android, Blowy Fish is now available on Windows Phone devices.

Blowy Fish is an endless 2D side scrolling game from one-man developer One Man Band Games in which you play golf with a helpless blowfish. You’ll catapult the blowfish across a randomly generated landscape that features increasingly difficult enemies and obstacles.

Unlike most “endless”-style games, Blowy Fish features a level mode with checkpoints so the game can actually be beaten for that sweet feeling of accomplishment. For those who prefer the old-school endless-style approach, a real “Endless” mode with high scores is still included.

Players can collect starfish during their runs which can be exchanged for cosmetic items to beautify the blowfish. Items can be combined into costumes, which show additional funny effects when equipped during play.

The game is available for free without In-App-Purchases, though the game does display ads. You can download it via the QR code above.
